Big Zappy Guns Power Up For Warlord’s Konflikt ’47
March 25, 2019 by brennon
Warlord Games has added two new guns into the mix for use in the Weird World War that is Konflikt '47. We start off with the introduction of the Tesla AT Gun.
These powerful guns are used for cooking heavily armoured targets. Point this at a tank and whilst it might not immediately blow a hole in the hull it's going to make everyone inside it very uncomfortable very quickly. Also, if you switch it to the dispersion setting you can also fry some infantry while you're at it.
A note in the description of this that I liked was that whilst a Tesla Gun isn't exactly great for night fighting and ambushes the crackling energy coming from the weapon is enough to send shivers down the spine of your enemy.
Sonic Boom
As well as the power of electricity harnessed into weapon form there's also the use of noise to blast away your enemies. The Towed ZP Gun can now be deployed in the field by a loyal crew of operators.
Using low pulses of sound the Zvukovoy Proyektor acts like a battering ram, smashing infantry to the ground with ease. If you include a few of these in your force you've got a good deterrent, capable of sending the enemy to ground so your allies can rush in for the killing blow.
Are you going to be picking these up for your British and Soviet forces?

Those are really nice but those also give me Ork feel.
I see Zzapp gunz… wherez my gretchinz?
I need to take a break buying GW stuff and get my Konflikt 47 army up off the ground!
Nice the sonic gun does sound very Orky.
I get the vibe from the ZP gun crew of Hear No Evil, See No Evil and Speak No Evil (he’s pointing) from the camera angle.
Interesting models.
I have the rulebook but have never had the opportunity to played a game of this.
Nice to see the “drop shorts” get some new toys. Should be starting on my box of K47 stuff that I haven’t touched in two years soon … so these could be an addition
