I’ve taken the plunge and ordered the Anycubic Photon Resin printer – Amazon had it on flash sale yesterday so I managed to get it for just £322… was too hard to resist!

@warzan and @dignity – when you guys unboxed this printer a while back you were talking about an alternative Resin that could be finished in water & washing up liquid. What was that Resin and what was your experience of it?

If anyone has other suggestions for alternative Resins, preferably that avoid the use of the isopropyl alcohol, I’d love to hear from you.

I believe the resin he mentioned is https://ameralabs.com/shop/amd-3-led/

I have used it and have to say it is at least as good as the resin that came with the printer.

Also one of the first prints I would try is this 2 part resin filter funnel to save on paper filters

    Happy printing
