First weekends progress
Right so had a reasonable weekends worth of time to model and kitbash.
took the models out of the bags and totalled up what was present. Put the plastics together and got.
5 assault marines with backpacks ( changed the heads for some heresy style heads I had in my bits box to give a more menicing look)
6 other marine bodies with assorted arms weapons etc.
1 chapter captain
10 darkelf dread spears
8 dark elf Corsairs
hunted my bits box and managed to cobble 4 more marines together with the left over stuff from skiptotheends gifts with different weapon loadouts so can now field,
1 assault squad and two 5 man veteran squads or one 10 man vet squad or an honor guard with the captain and a under strength unit with mixed weapons.
also managed to kit bash a female dark elf figure for the fantasy army or role play.
Primed the marines with army painter skeleton bone and the dark elves with Vallejo grey primer
Will touch up the skeleton bone in places with paint through the air brush.
made a quick start on the Corsairs as a colour test and will have to go back and highlight them so that they fit into my existing army.
Some are based differently as may use them in D&D and I like round bases better for that.
