Upcoming Ancient Plastics Previewed By Victrix

Victrix have been working away on some more Ancient Plastics for use with your battles during the rise and fall of the Roman Empire. Germanic Tribesmen will soon be giving way to Dacian Warriors.
These new figures show off some warriors clad in armour claimed from the Romans. If you're looking to throw some Auxiliaries into the mix for your games, or just want a band of warriors who have taken this kit to use it for themselves, this gives you that neat option.
Once again we're seeing some great work going into the style of these miniatures. They all look dynamic and will make for a bustling unit as it crashes into the enemy on the battlefield.
There are a lot of irons in the fire for Victrix at the moment as they work through these immense plastic kits. There's enough here to get anyone interested in Ancient wargaming and either starting to play games as the Romans or their enemies.
I love the idea of a pair of friends picking either side and fighting through a long campaign deep within the woodlands of Europe.

they look alright, but I’d have liked to see some suebian knots on them. There’s a couple with pineapples on their head, or rocking a metrosexual manbun. Bit of a missed opportunity there.
I like these. I can see them providing some numbers to support the excellent Foundry Germans that Mark Copplestone sculpted. I can see some legions coming a cropper in a Teutoburger Wald near me once these come out.
the only trouble you’ll have will be the size difference, they’ll look like they’re taking the hobbits to mount doom 😉
Size difference isn’t that bad is it? The Victrix Celts look okay in a mixed group of different manufacturers Celts, although admitedly nearer the Black Tree ones than the Old Glory. I’m hopeful that these Germans will play nicely with the other tiny fighting mens.

If I had more time to paint I would buy more Victrix stuff…
