@dawfydd <20 rupees>
They are indeed but they get the job done, kick a lot of butt and are well supplied and stocked up. Nothing wrong with that. Would be interesting to know what Robot Gorillaman’s opinion are of them…
Thanks! They were a couple of hours of work with drybrushing with a large brush. It was a real time saver. I watched some Call of Cthulhu review type youtube videos for the chaosium RPG and the time flew. They will get soft tone washes tonight. I haven’t done serious batch painting since I did the 40 or so Goblin Town Goblins before Christmas and the idea of tearing into them didn’t fill me with terror. I guess doing that many marines at once is akin to an entire army rather than one large unit in a horde army. I think I have a Landraider, Ironclad in Droppod, the Forge World Characters and a bunch of other power armoured marines around somewhere which are all part of the force.
Thanks! I thought they would fit nicely with plague marines.
10 rupees for responses to others.
Man shadowspear marines painted as Raptors is very fitting to say the least. That’s inspired, he’d make a fantastic Issodon from the Badab War books. Nice haul! 10 rupees for the idea
