@limburger <10 rupees>
I’m aware 🙂 They aren’t finished yet. It was just a WIP showing off the concept as was eager to share even though I only put a couple of hours into them. Not sure if I should differentiate the tentacles from the armour or keep the flesh metal on some though.
They will get more highlighting. Probably two for the yellow and purple surface areas, one for the metal and touch up the black which already has a wash and hilgiht.
Oddly enough, and I know the plot but haven’t seen it, Weird Science actually had a TV show made after the movie which I watched a lot of. Odd show.
10 rupees for the order. Man that’s a lot of cash to drop. You will have to take pictures when you start hobbying it up with your army.
Sounds like the cat found you adequately comfy.
The mind raid shall now cease. My work is done.
I did the three Decpticons on a whim. IT does look good, no doubt about it. If I were to do the rest of the Nurgle army in these colours I’d mix up the purple and yellow a little more compared to the colour layout from the source material. And probably not paint organic surfaces in either yellow, purple or silver.
I’ve thrown a dark tone wash on the metallic since but also notice some parts I missed. They will then get a silver edge highlight. What kind of weather had you in mind?
As for the yellow I did an orange basecoat, then averland sunset, and a soft tone wash all over. Should I still follow the ‘’…If you stippled a little ochre/burnt umber around the yellow and hit it with a brown wash the age/wear on the yellow areas would definitely pop….’
I’ve never used pigment powder before so its kinda new and scary to me lol. Nor rubbing alcohol.
