I wonder if the availability of the internet has had an effect on Soviet morale in general and that of their troops.

How does the modern military deal with the availability of information for troops ?
Does the army limit and/or censor any incoming news media ?

I think the use of xbox/playstation controllers makes sense, because they are proven tech and they are readily available in large quantities. No need to design and build your own variant (unless you ‘need’ to) which has all the potential supply problems of a limited resource.
