Games Workshop’s Ambot Drops Into Necromunda Next Week
February 25, 2019 by brennon
Games Workshop has some vehicular releases coming to their webstore next week. The first of these is the Ambot for Necromunda.
These walking monster gets added into the mix with its Luther Pattern Excavation Automata option stalking through the Underhive looking for a target. These particular kits come with all sorts of different options and can be posed in various ways too.
You can use these to add some additional muscle to a warband or as wandering monsters out there in the darkness.
Ork Racers
As well as the Ambot for Necromunda the Orks in Warhammer 40,000 also get two racers on the tabletop with the Kustom Boosta-blasta...
...and the Shokkjump Dragsta. Each of these is one of the newer vehicles for the Ork arsenal, ready to take to the battlefield as they blast apart foes and potentially their own kit.
If you're getting stuck into some kitbashing both of these kits would be a lot of fun to play around with. Ork vehicles are always good to mess around with and the Ambot could be combined with other walker kits out there to do something special.
What do you think of the new pre-orders dropping on Saturday?

Ooh when’s optimum coming out oops wrong franchise ?
Love the Ork turbo mower.
So not only there is actual Ambuls but also these bots that are clearly inspired by look of those things. Also it’s good to see those Ork vehicles.
Sculpt some fleshy bits on the Ambot…..then mix the Ambull and Ambot in a mission.
“Story of a mysterious creature in the depths of the underhive….turns out is wasnt flesh and bone but a cyborg”
Somehow I’d thought the Ambot was a Forge World release. That it’s in plastic is even better
I’m so glad the Ambots are plastic and not Forgworld resin 🙂 I got to get them in my Genestealer Cult army 🙂
Love the ambots. Will be picking up a few, as they look mean and like they can dish out and take a lot of punishment. Far more sexy than those doddering, chubby dreadnought thingees.
I love the lore and idea of dreadnoughts but I’ve never liked the models (despite having a few).
Did see an awesome conversion years ago in White Dwarf though. Guy had a samurai themed army and had added in washers at the joints to give it a really dynamic pose. The only one I’ve seen that looked like it might actually be able to walk!
The low-riding, slick tired Formula Waargh racing mower is the best way to move about in the rough!
