4Ground Preview New Urbes Mortis Rubble & Ruins
February 22, 2019 by brennon
4Ground have been previewing some more of their new terrain which is due to be hitting tabletops soon. The new Urbes Mortis collection will be a range of ruins for use with your heroic Sci-Fi miniatures.
The kit that you see here can be assembled in eighteen different ways according to the folks at 4Ground and it does actually come with all of the bits and bobs you see here like the rubble strewn throughout the shattered landscape and the stained glass!
I think this is a great idea for those looking to re-create the landscapes of Warhammer 40,000 and the like on the tabletop. In the Imperium each of their worlds is effectively a shrine to the God-Emperor so something like this is perfect for dropping down onto the tabletop.
I really like how they've managed to do the cracked stained glass as well for the windows; it's a wonderful effect.
This collection is still in the planning stage currently but as you'll see things are coming together very nicely. So, if you're playing some games like Kill Team, for example, this might be a good shout as you look to build a cluttered board for your teams to run around on.
Will you be keeping an eye on this?

That’s going to look fabulous as a center piece on any table.
Oh my.
When you think 4Ground can’t make anything better…
Are these the same gray as the ruins of daldorr? They might work together quite well.
This is beautiful. I love those windows
