About the Project
It is 1985 and the future of the world is in the balance... can Springfield survive an invasion? This project is about the building and painting of a complete army for Team Yankee with the theme of "The Enemy" aka Cobra from the world of GI Joe. When completed I hope to have one coherent army i can field using many different options from the Soviet and Warsaw Pact books and forces. It started with a small vanity project of doing my Soviet aircraft painted as Cobra aircraft from my childhood. Now I am building the infantry and tank companies to match up with childhood dream of fighting a large battle with all my little dudes. COBRA!!

This Project is On Hold
As with most journeys it started with the first step...
That first step came from expanding the Soviet force I wanted to get on the table.
After purchasing a box of Su-25s to give my Soviet forces some air power a thought hit me.
This would be a fun and easy paint scheme to try.
