With their newest game Warlords of Erehwon, the skeleton warriors are a fine army to throw into your games. They can be represented as the spirits or essences of long-dead warriors rather than their material remnants. Plus with the amount of variety you get on the sprew, you'll sure to have a unique force for the tabletop.
What do you think of the skeleton models?

Too much building involved for me
it’s why Ronnie went the other way with the mantic skellies, most are two piece which for large forces is ideal.
But for really individual poses on a small group of skelliebobs I really like these. But I do tend to enjoy over complicating things for myself ^^
separate feet? that really is an odd choice.
I do need skeleton archers though…..
Sigh a proxy skeleton army for wargods of oylmpus is calling
These are the old Wargames Factory sprues re-released so it doesn’t surprise me that they are so fiddly and complicated. There was an old compliant that the legs broke rather easily, so I don’t know if Warlord have addressed this issue or not.
Very Jason and the Argonauts, which is probably the only positive thing people who bought the old kits would say about them.
They did come with falcatas and dipylons.
Are they the wargames factory skeletons or are they a new sprue?
Wargames Factory Skeletons re-boxed for Warlords Of Erehwon.
The skellies look nice but the seperate feet look unnecessarily fiddly.
Would be nice to see you guys do a Jason and the Argonauts game with these; maybe a Let’s Play of WoE? Iirc Wargames Foundry do a range of Argonauts, so you could get a bunch of those to square off against them. 😉
I like the modularity. They look as though they could do with better definition, but i suppose that comes from them being an ‘old’ ( however old ‘old’ is in this case ) miniature set, and i might be able to work that out. Definitely a contender next time i want some skeletons.
It must be the camera because the definition on the sculpts is excellent
I do find that miniatures look better in real life than when being filmed or photographed.
I can see a box or two coming my way in all honesty as i love Jason and the Argonauts ( anything Harryhausen really ).Particularly with SAGA Age of Magic rumoured to be a Salute release ?
The swords are probably https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Falcata
do like the individuality each skelly has
a twofer a jigsaw and skeleton troops.
3D jigsaws are the best ^^
These remind me of my first box of skellies by Games Workshop!
Very nice for the number of ways you can assemble them but, the separate feet is indeed weird!
I must have missed these when they first came out but that was back in the dark days where I only played 40k. While I’m not wanting to get into a new game system right now I could definitely use these in multiple systems.
These are great! Quite a variety of bits.
ooooooooooh lovely kit
@avernos The Falcata, a distinctive sword used by the Iberian tribes and is a type of sword typical of pre-Roman Iberia. The falcata was used to great effect during the Roman conquest of the Iberian peninsula, and is firmly associated to the southern Iberian tribes, among other ancient peoples of Hispania.
Kopis is the name I was struggling to remember. It’s the cleaver like Greek sword on the sprue that I think looks better than the xiphos
Both swords are very similar in design and were in use around the same time period, I suspect the Falcata was influenced by the Greek Kopis sword.
My cunning plan is as follows: I bought a box of 24 of these Erewhon/WGF skeletons I bought a wrecked-ship terrain from GW for those water elf things. So I’m going to build the two halves of the ship wreck as one wrecked ship, paint ghosty glows all over it, stick a bunch of skeletons all over it, scrambling about the ribs of the hull like monkeys pointing their spears downward for stabbies on the go and make it a flying ghost ship and maybe use it as a summon-able army/ endless spell for a necromancer Then I’m going to… Read more »
The separate feet don’t bother me. But I guess I’m a glutton for punishment since I’ve enjoyed building 1/72 scale tanks with individual track links.
I need me some of these, feel like I’ve been in a hole too long and missed these when they were released.
