Holy hell, I have a lot of responses to get to. This is great! 😀
Great collection of games, @templar007 – my favorite at the moment is still Force on Force for Moderns. I have not tried Specter and Skirmish Sangin is very, well, “skirmish-y.” 😀 Perfect for some people, but I like bigger battles. This is why I’m so interested in Ultracombat 28mm Modern Miniatures and Skirmish Rules by the same company – Radio Dishdash Publishing Ltd. It kicks the echelon level up one notch from … basically … squad to platoon.
I have a preview copy for the show – of Ultracombat for Normandy. Not quite Modern, but showcases the book and the system. It looks really great and very very clear so far.
Which is my one slight issue with Force on Force. I love the TQ system, but the action / reaction / preempt mechanic in that game still gives me a little issue now and then.
@stvitusdancern and @grimwolfuk – indeed, we all agree (in part) on @limburger ‘s question re: a Rainbow Six-style game and a Plausible Deniability. I hope you don’t mind me linking your great trailer, Ralph, @templar007 was asking about it at what must have been “zero dark thirty” your time. 😀 Your GhostOps RPG is a great project I want to see succeed.
