More naked Dwarves for Torros
As I promised Torros, here are a couple of comparisons between MM and Pendraken’s Dwarf models.
In the long line up we have 2 characters based for KoW from MM, next are 3 Pendraken axe wielding chaps. Next are two Pendraken Box/ranger models, 2 Pendraken spear dwarves, and finally 2 MM dwarves with guns.
I have also done a close up of 2 hammer wielding dwarves, the one on the left is Pendraken, and the other is MM’s.
I feel that Pendraken’s are stockier, and a couple are a bit more cartoon-y (such as the spear chaps). MM’s are smaller and perhaps not as “flavour-full”. The main difference is in the bases – Pend’s have a larger lump of metal which makes them take up more space and stand taller straight from the box. I know this can (and will) be dremelled for use but its an annoying additional step I dont have to make with MM’s

To be honest I’m wondering if I should maybe abandon the 10mm idea or go to 15mm with Blood Dawn or Demonworld
It’s a fair point and if I didn’t have the models from a past/ongoing project I would have done the same thing. If you are doing WoE then the initial model count isn’t that high and depending upon your collecting style in 15mm you could easily pick up a couple of “cheap” 500 point starters going down that method if you’re unsure which force you prefer.
