Chronicle Your RPG Tales With Hero: The Adventurer’s Journal
February 19, 2019 by brennon
Isola Illyon Edizioni is on Kickstarter right now with a new project for those who like to chronicle the life and times of their adventurers when they begin a role-playing game. Check out Hero: The Adventurer's Journal.
This book was already available in Italian but the team are now looking to produce it in English. It gives you a lot of blank pages for doing your own doodles and note taking but also includes pages which help you describe and develop your character, track their spells and more.
As you can see it has options for all of your attributes as well as additional bits of background information for those looking to add a bit more colour to their dungeon delving adventurers. The structure of Campaign and Character is repeated three times throughout the book meaning that it won't be wasted if one of your heroes bites the dust.
There is even a section in the back for those who want to draw out the dungeons they are delving down into as well, so if you like being the mapper in the party you've got some options there!
If you're interested in the artwork featured on the pages of these tomes then you can look here at the work by Silvia Pasqualetto and Alessandro Ranaldi.
This is a very glorified notepad, but I like the fact that you could have a dedicated book for dungeon delving that fits the theme and style of your Fantasy adventures.
Is this something you'd consider picking up?

looks interesting.
I just backed this, it’s a beautiful piece and something that could last a lifetime for adventuring.
I was also suggested this campaign booklet (https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/critforbrains/rpg-campaign-journal) which unfortunately doesn’t ship outside the US, I’m gutted. Any Stateside friends wish to send me one I’d be a happy OTTer.
