I like the look of it as is and part of me wants to stop right at this stage.  But the other part wants to do more so I’m pondering some drybrush and highlights and need to consider the eyes and mushrooms.

While I’m waiting and pondering, I searched around my miniature collection and came across some Flames of War stuff.  Years ago I picked up an Airborne Infantry Company but only completed a platoon the rest remained in my carry case organized but unassembled and unpainted.  Here is completed platoon with some closeups.

My skills I am hoping will have improved on 15mm.  And am looking forward to finishing the company.  Standard practice for me now is washing the miniatures in warm soapy water with a toothbrush to get rid of any releasing agent or other stuff on the miniatures whether it’s plastic, metal or resin. Here is the rest of the company – 2 airborne platoons and the start of the company HQ.

This last photo is the remaining parts of the company that need to be glued – 3 Company Sniper teams, a paracart, beacon, and Lt Turnball.  The Aircraft got broke at some point and the wing is missing.  I’m attempting a repair with plasticard and green stuff.
