Capture Chimeras In Merlin’s Beast Hunt From WizKids
February 14, 2019 by cassn
Most know of the tournaments of knights hosted by Arthur, but only a few know of Merlin’s Beast Hunt tournament! Held on a remote isle, mages use magical seeds and their own sorcery to create fences of natural elements to enclose and capture various beasts.
In Merlin's Beast Hunt, you are a mage competing to enclose and entrap beasts. Players will draw from a pool of dice 'seeds' which will grow elemental fences to help capture chimeras, unicorns, basilisks, and centaurs.
Fences of bamboo, lightning, thorns, and water are represented on semi-transparent cards which can be placed strategically to produce barriers, trapping these mythical beasts. Trap the most animals and build the most fences to gain the most points and be declared the Champion of Magic!
Merlin's Beast Hunt will be released by WizKids in August 2019.

There are lots of differences between a wyvern and a dragon, but the differences vary from one RPG to another… and I don’t want to spoil the surprise when you meet one…
A wyvern has drunk too much and got partially legless? 😉
Most commonly a wyvern is bipedal (it only has wings and legs) where a dragon is a quadruped (it has ‘arms’, legs and wings.
I am disproportionately pleased with myself for knowing that. (I was terrible to watch Reign of Fire with…)
