Rebels Go Rogue As Jyn Erso Joins Star Wars: Legion
February 6, 2019 by cassn
"This is a rebellion, isn't it? I rebel."
The (second) most badass lady in the galaxy is coming to the tabletop! Fantasy Flight Games have previewed their Jyn Erso Commander expansion for Star Wars: Legion.
The sacrificial commander will be joining the Rebel Alliance on the tabletop, utilizing her unique skills to shake up strategy and give the Rebel factions a fighting chance!
Alongside an excellently sculpted Jyn Erso miniature, the expansion will also include new unit and command cards, and five upgrade cards to enhance her militaristic skill.
A moving target is hardest hit. Moves like Danger Sense allow Jyn to gain extra pre-emptive defence, while others like Quick Thinking give her an aim token and a dodge token for a single action. Coupled with upgrades like Duck and Cover, it soon becomes clear that Jyn Erso is a one-woman rebellion that will be hard to put down.
The Jyn Erso Commander Expansion will be released in early 2019 alongside the Rebel Pathfinders Unit Expansion, so keep an eye on Fantasy Flight Games for more information!
The Lightsaber bread knife: a brilliant idea for making toast, or sci-fi gone too far?

This might be a reason for me to get into Star Wars Legion….. ?
Then you’ll love the Sabine Wren they just announced. 😉
yup you could have pink hair on her @amachan
Sabine Wren is only SW character that I can think having pink hair. After all changing her hair style and color is very much part of who she is so her hair can be any color you want.
could do Admiral Holdo as well, although it’s more purple than straight pink ^^
I doubt we see Holdo unless they go beyond OT and Galactic Civil War era with SWL.
That looks really nice.
Looks really nice, good to see more stuff like this coming for the game
https://www.fantasyflightgames.com/en/news/2019/2/6/on-the-hunt/ Sabine and Bossk, coming as well.
And they are the first models with multiple poses! FFG is getting into serious miniature business!
I’ve not played Star Wars Legion, but this is the kind of unit I sense the game needs. I don’t think there’s a problem having named / known characters (although there should be an option for creating your own), but I think this kind of character is a great addition to the kind of games that the game is trying to create.
If that’s the next gen figure’s out are older leaya, Hans, and solo, coming/out for gamers
I hope we keep getting more Rogue One stuff!
how soon before we get Guardian’s of the Whills? Also with the release of SW:Rebels based characters that surely sets the way for Saw Gerrera, either the cartoon early version or the Rogue One more machine than man one. Either is fine for me
