Conquer The Fashion World In Prêt-à-Porter
January 31, 2019 by cassn
Portal Games will be launching the third edition of Prêt-à-Porter later this year on Kickstarter. Prêt-à-Porter, designed by Ignacy Trzewiczek (Stronghold, 51st State), was originally released back in 2010. This new edition will feature new components and stunning artwork by Kwanchai Moriya, and fans can't wait.
Prêt-à-Porter is a 2-4 player economic strategy board game based within the cutthroat world of fashion. Hire models, designers and accountants, open design agencies, brand stores and preparation rooms and, of course, since lucrative contracts all in advance of your designs strutting the runway at the quarterly fashion shows.
Designs are awarded stars based on the public, media and experts in the field judging your fashionista prowess, and won stars mean more money, more opportunities, and a chance to get ahead of your competitors.
Prêt-à-Porter is a combination of deep strategy, direct interaction and a little bit of luck. The campaign will be launching on Kickstarter in 2019, so keep an eye on the Portal Games website for more information.

Actually that does sound pretty cool. It sounds like some kind of Gangster game
Ohhhhhhh, this looks pretty cool. Love the context the game is situated in!
It actually sounds like a really cool game and the illustrations will be amazing.
Sounds definitely interesting but I don’t think that the fashion industry is quite a popular setting for board games. Although, time will tell. I wonder, is it possible to make fake accessories and clothes? I would play as a guy who does it. Just recently I read at this blog about Gucci replicas and how to find them. Frankly speaking, I didn’t know that fakes are produced at such a high level nowadays.
I think it all depends on whether the person feels the style or not. When there is a sense of style, a person looks beautiful even if he wears Hijabs, although Muslim clothing is not very diverse. I also believe that fashion is not as important as style. My friend is Muslim and she buys clothes from Amani’s and she always looks great.
