We've heard of app-assisted board gaming, but how about Alexa-assisted ones? Well, X2 Games are working on one called St.Noire which has you trying to solve a murder mystery using the device.

St Noire - X2 Games

The premise of the game is that there has been a murder in the small town of St.Noire and you and five friends will be working to solve the mystery before the killer strikes again. You have to find clues, interrogate witnesses and work out who is lying, all whilst Alexa drives the characters and world of St.Noire in the background.

This sounds like a fantastic premise and it would be brilliant to actually give this a go. Hopefully, the system will be able to live up to their claims of making games feel different, tweaking the story and its path each time to offer a variety of game experiences.

Alexa and similar pieces of tech seem to me to be a fascinating way of changing up how games are played and I could see people getting behind the idea of games like St.Noire as well as something more Fantastical too!

What do you think?
