Last Thursday evening’s game was Gangs of Rome at Leicester Phat Cats and it was the first time a couple of new people had played it. The scenario was Honours Due where you fight for the glory of your Dominus or Domina where the last man standing wins all the fame. Well done Chris Clark for the win and thanks to David Reyero Martinez and James Clark for playing too. Of course I lost, lol, I always loose.

The first couple of round went the usual way and that is everyone hides in the Mobs. Now that is a sensible tactic but I went for the higher ground and climbed the half built temple to Apollo. Taking the high ground means I am safe for the mobs anger which can be good and means I should of the advantage of being able to see anyone coming to get me.

Well that plan went way as all that happened is everyone gravitated their way to me, I guess it was because I was in the open. Missiles rained down on me, Wicked Caltrops where thrown at me and after that then everyone slowly climbed the temple to engage me in melee.

Just how no one fell from the lofty height of the temple with the amount of blood being spilt but slowly with the fight went back and forth and I was cut down. Shortly after that Chris dispatched David leaving James left to fight Chris. However, James went into a hiding game when Chris but Chris cornered James and after a short and bloody fight Chris came out the winner.
