Celestial Fulcrum Concept Art
March 26, 2011 by beerogre
The guys over at Privateer Press have released their first sneak peek at the concept art for the Circle Orboros battle engine... the Celestial Fulcrum.
The art makes it look a little too much like a terrain piece (although an awwsome one) for my tastes, but then I'm not a big Circle player.
What do the Circle players think of this?

I only play Kaya for Circle, so I won’t be using this unless it grows furr and teeth, but still it looks pretty damn cool.
If you look on the very right of the pic you can just about make out a third sphere in rotation, so I’m guessing this is a kind of scale model of Caen, which has 3 moons.
I love this ! Fear the great conjunction !
I may be the only one… but I think it looks silly. Is it just floating around? How do they get it there? It just seems so… odd. I have liked all the battle engines up until this point. (except for Menoth maybe… I know what it is, but it looks like a Pipe Organ on wheels)
The Menoth battle engine IS actually a pipe organ on wheels… Among other things.
And, yes, apparently, the Orboros battle engine does float/revolves around, presumably put in motion by druidic magic.
Sorry you disapprove…
Just my opinion, the great thing about these games is that there is always something I DO like. 😀
It seems more like it would teleport or something along those lines not float
Depending on the price tag, I may actually pick this guy up and use it as a terrain piece (maybe as one of the arcane terrain pieces in Warhammer Fantasy). I think it would look cool sitting atop a hill.
My question is what will it do? I’ve learned functionality is much more important than looks.
i play orboros. i dont really care for it yet, but i will wait for the model and rules before passing final judgement. to be honest i am the type i will buy build and paint at least one of every unit… i doubt i preorder it but i’ll get it…
