Bezier Games Announce Suburbia Collector’s Edition
January 8, 2019 by brennon
Bezier Games are taking a game that I enjoy quite a bit and giving it a big upgrade. Suburbia is getting its own Collector's Editon with plenty of new bells and whistles attached to it (Disclaimer: no bells and whistles included in box).
Suburbia is best described as Sim City/Cities: Skylines in board game form. You have to build yourself a massive city whilst also looking to keep your economy going, pleasing the people at the same time as they come and join your project. It's a great balancing act and for a tile-based game, it's actually quite fun seeing your city spring to life.
It's not a 'sexy' game by any stretch of the imagination, but if you like the slow building atmosphere of the aforementioned PC games and a little bit of tactical play too as you steal districts from your friends, then this might be worth a look for you.
This new edition of the game comes with loads of awesome goodies for those who might have missed out on it first time including a massive Tile Tower which acts as the main hub where you buy up sections of your city, and new artwork across the board giving things a much more homely feel. I will admit the original Suburbia was a little drab to look at.
You also get a whole bunch of awesome expansions in the box too including a new one, Nightlife. A friend of mine owns the copy of the game we play, but since I don't have one of my own I'm very tempted to pick this up...
Are you going to be taking a look at this?

It is a great game and the cost of box is less than the sum of the base + expansions. It is a great game that my family and friends have played over 100 times and this will be a nice upgrade. Not sure it is for me but those who have never played should check it out. Even the single player version is Okay as long as you like a beat my last score type of solo game.
Sounds good I can see a casino version with LEDs in the counters for the casinos.
