Forged In Battle Preview More Dark Age Norsemen In 15mm
January 4, 2019 by brennon
Forged In Battle has been showing off some more of the Dark Age warriors and terrain which will be coming later this year. We saw a few of these last year but here is a look at some of the Viking Huscarles with Swords & Spears.
As you can see the set is rather highly detailed and comes with a lot of different characters for you to consider using as well as the regular troops. As we mentioned before it would be great to see someone ramping up games of SAGA to include larger armies using these 15mm miniatures.
If you're of the Lloydian persuasion then you'll be more taken by the Russ forces that have been added into the mix. For example, here we have the Russ Druzhina Sword & Spears set...
...and for when you need to hack down shieldwalls you also have the Russ Druzhina Axes set.
These sets look great for those wanting to build a raiding force, heading out to the rest of Europe to bring back riches from the continent.
Terrain To Raid
As well as the miniatures above the folks at Forged In Battle are also working away on some cool terrain pieces too including the Meade Hall which would be a wonderful place to protect from harm.
And, if you're in the raiding mood then you should consider picking up the Saxon Church which is no doubt full of riches worth running off with.
There are plenty of people who have been getting on board with this range and it will be great to see it all come to fruition later this year. Painting these smaller scale figures seems like a great way to test your boundaries and explore games in a different way.
