Ascend To New Heights With Artel W New Pilot Miniatures
December 22, 2018 by cassn
Get ready to soar through the skies like never before, as Artel W release two new sculpts - The Pilot and The Pilot's Heiress.
Despite the Firefly reference on the Artel W site - "He is the Leaf on the Wind" - The Pilot is definitely not Alan Tudyk. Not to discredit the actor, but this guy is definitely a bit more badass than Wash.
Made from high-quality resin, The Pilot is a pretty cool addition to the tabletop. His hair is excellent, although I think someone should have told him wearing a bandana as a scarf isn't exactly cool anymore!
Next up is The Pilot's Heiress, a daughter who is, no doubt, embarrassed by her dad's clothing choices.
I love the patch detailing on her jacket, although I feel like the top underneath is a bit basic. Still, I love her dynamic posing - she looks like she's ready for adventure!
Both figures are 28mm scale and come unpainted and unassembled with a 25mm base. You can get these new miniatures from the Artel W website, and throughout December there's a free gift with every order of $50 or more! So head over and man your craft now!
What tabletop game would you use these guys for?

Great looking figure’s.
Those look really nice.
Artel W do a not-Eisenhorn line don’t they? Think these are supposed to represent the two pilots from that series (don’t recall the characters’ names).
That’s what I was thinking. Midas Betancore and his daughter Medea Betancore. They are both lovely miniatures and I am pretty sure they are inspired by Dan Abnet’s characters.
Am I the only one that think Battle Mech Pilots when I look at these two? They just give off that retro 80’s vibe that would fit for Merc pilots. It could just be that I have been play a lot of Harebrain’s Battletech game lately.
kinda say Infinity to me
