After an unscheduled delay...
So, ended up with a nasty bug that stopped me from doing any work on this for almost a week. Time is a bit tighter now, so you’ll have to forgive the lack of a WIP shot.
Night before last, I added paper mache to the base.
While I’m not completely happy with how it turned out, I think it’s somrthing I’ll try out later when I’ve got more time. I think one of my mistakes was to use tissue – while it’s thinner, it needs more layers and seemed a bit delicate during the base coating stage.
last night, I put down some colour on the base and added some “rocks”.
Base, unpaintedI also finished painting Goldberry. Not as happy with the skin as I could be, but I’m liking how her dress and hair turned out.
