Okay so with new Battleforce boxed set for them I am finally starting my own Death Guard army as it seems like perfect starting point. Besides on content of that boxed set I have Typhus, Know No Fear boxed set’s DG minis and some extra Easy To Build ones for both Plague Marines (so that I have another squad of 7) and Poxwalkers (so that I have either squad of 16 or 6 extra). I had been thinking this for over half year and with rumors of Primaris Marines possible replacing standard Marines I made my mind to go to side of Chaos with Nurgle army that I actually like.

Enjoy. Death Guard are a very forgiving army to both paint and play.

Thanks. It’s kinda given that they are forgiving to play since they are so hard to kill. I was thinking painting all DG units with they colors and all units that I might get that are also in CSM codex with Black Legion colors. Story behind that could be that DG stole those from BL for one reason or other or maybe Abaddon gave those to them.

Good idea. I have done some vaguely similar. Our two main armies are Marines and Aeldari, but as Death Guard came with the starter and were relatively cheap to flesh out it was only natural to expand them a bit.

I went for a white scheme with the intention of painting all further disparate chaos forces I will no doubt collect through things like Blackstone also in white or black to be able to field them in something that looks like a single force maybe sometime in the future.
