Forged In Battle Tease Upcoming 15mm War & Empire Dark Age Vikings

Forged In Battle are getting ready to release their 15mm War & Empire III Dark Age range in 2019 and this week gave us another teaser of what we can expect.
The newest preview was for a range of Viking Huscarles With Axes.
There's still a lot of work going on in the background to bring this range to life but I think for 15mm these sculpts are pretty top notch. There is plenty of detail worked into the different sculpts, with cloaks, beards, helmets and chainmail all looking like it would take paint very nicely indeed.
I can already imagine a few folks looking to expand upon games of SAGA with this range and play bigger battles out on the tabletop.

Can you easily scale up Saga battles using these?
yes, but it’s not how I plan to use them… probably see if I can sneak it into the weekender this week 😀

So glad i backed their kickstarter, i know its probably the amazing paint job but these just look awesome. I saw a few in person and the detail is exceptional. Just a pity i couldnt buy them all!
These will soon be added to the veritable mountain of unpainted lead I have from FIB’s previous Kickstarters…lol. Awesome figures, tho.
