Stonehenge And The Sun By itten Brings Gravity To Dexterity Games
December 17, 2018 by brennon
itten are analogue game makers from Japan and they've just come to Kickstarter with Stonehenge And The Sun, a dexterity game which makes use of one of the most iconic sites in the world and gravity!
The game features a variety of different rules for you to get going but all of them focus around that suspended metal ball which you either hang from a hook or the ceiling, whichever is easiest.
In the first of three game modes shown off by the designers you take control of a point around the circle and must build sections of Stonehenge whilst also passing the ball across the playspace.
It looks like a very tense dexterity game just from this little demonstration above! The second of the game modes is much more frantic with everyone having to try and build stacks of four stones in the central ring whilst the ball spins around them.
These two game modes are known as Basic and Orbit with a third coming soon. I think I'd have a lot of fun with both of these and it's nice to see more of these dexterity games out there.
The best thing about these types of games is that you could very easily get those who don't like board gaming or have never played before, to sit around and have a bit of fun.
What do you think of their premise?
