Garkorr was the limited edition Nighthaunt model released by Games Workshop to celebrate their 500th store opening a couple of months ago.

This is my second test piece mini for my nighthaunt colour scheme. The first can be found here (https://www.beastsofwar.com/project/1293604/) but I wasn’t happy with the result. It looked too solid.

For this attempt I started with a white undercoat and then dusted the model with a black spray – sort of like zenith highlighting in reverse. I then limited myself to only using washes to try and keep a washed-out ethereal look.

The arms had a wash of seraphim sepia. The metal blades were washed nuln oil. The bronze hilts were washed reikland fleshshade. The cloth was washed hexwraith flame. The entire model was then drybrushed with hellion green.
