The Stuff Of Legend Comes To The Tabletop From Kevin Wilson

The Stuff Of Legend is a graphic novel series by Mike Raicht and Brian Smith and illustrated by Charles Paul Wilson III and it has now been turned into a board game by Kevin Wilson and Th3rd World Studios.
Here's a little more about the game and the world behind it...
"As Allied forces fight the enemy on Europe's war-torn beaches, another battle begins in a child's bedroom in Brooklyn when the nightmarish Boogeyman snatches a boy and takes him to the realm of the Dark. The child's playthings, led by the toy soldier known as the Colonel, band together to stage a daring rescue. On their perilous mission, they will confront the boy's bitter and forgotten toys, as well as betrayal in their own ranks."
In the game, you'll be taking on the role of one of the boy's loyal toys, working together cooperatively to explore the Dark in search of the Boy before the Boogeyman can escape with him.
The twist in this tale, however, is that at some point your allegiance might shift and suddenly you might secretly be working against your fellow toys to make sure the Boy is lost forever.
I think this sounds fascinating and the artwork for the game is beautiful. The game appears to have a nice sense of charm about it, but also a dark side too which I think folks will appreciate, bringing it in line with classic fairy tales.
People love adventures in this vein like Stuffed Fables and to a lesser extent the fairy tale style of Mice & Mystics so I can't wait to find out more when it comes to this game.
Have you read the graphic novel this is based on?

I love the look of this. Reminds me of Stuffed Fables, but given that dark edge it needs to appeal to a more adult audience. Really want to read the comics now.
