@horati0nosebl0wer well at least the commission is for a mix of things and not just batch painting the same colours over and over again. I guess the downside with that though is it takes longer to get it finished… Nice start on the acolytes – I’m with @mage on this, great looking minis/faction. erm, nothing amusing yet but I can post random pictures of puppies from the internet if that will help?… wow that Kyla mini is a nice sculpt – might look at picking one up. reaper have multiple free mini deals on at the moment so it’s kind of easy to find an excuse… 60 seasonal gingerbread men for posts and hobby progress.
@limburger The printer had no arms at the start of the bout, 3 rrms by the end of proceedings x-( All solid game choices, and a strong theme on the narrative aspect with those games. heh, hadn’t really made the mental connection between Reichbusters and Wolfenstein, but it’s really apparent now that you mention it. If you ever do come up with a perfect game storage solution there is probably a fortune to be made in it. My best solution so far is throw out anything non-gaming related to make more space… Hrm considering printing that sign and putting it up on the door of our IT department… 40 seasonal gingerbread men for post and responses.
@dawfydd that leviathan is the business! Well done! 20 seasonal gingerbread men for hobby progress.
@woldenspoons small, but can you get several and start stacking a Tardis inside a tardis inside a tardis? Could eventually scale up to an effective kickstarter storage solution 🙂 20 seasonal gingerbread men for posts so far.
@richbuilds welcome back! Love the seraphon – were they done with carefully layered inks? It’s been a while so i can’t remember exactly how you were approaching them. Nice start on the fallout too. 20 seasonal gingerbread men for hobby progress.
@biggabum it’s important to have standards – good to see a fellow man of principles 😉 I can sort of see what you mean with GW or historicals as a grounding, but you’d hope people would evolve and want to experience other games? I mean I’m not still playing 2nd edition Battletech and Heroquest… OK, that actually sounds totally awesome, might need to dust off the old battletech stuff… Sorry, what was the point I was trying to make?… 🙂 WWX looks like it was fun – and a nice big game too so you could break out the fun toys. 40 seasonal gingerbread men for posts and battle pics.
@mage ah you crazy youngsters and your social lives, being out every night 🙂 17 drinks?… erm, I’m not gonna try and guess how you are pulling up on 4 hours sleep then. I have a great system for gift wrapping – I get my GF to do it 🙂 Sounds lazy but present wrapping is her hobby – she does some marvellous looking gifts. Only downside is that when I buy her a gift I have to wrap it for her and I end up comparing the wrapping to heer standards :-/ Fortunately I have been watching what she does and can sort of fake my way through… If not, I’ll just approach it like any other hobby project and keep adding PVA until the paper stays down 😉 Congrats on the wrapping progress, keen to see your Mordheim shinies 🙂 40 seasonal gingerbread men for posts so far and progress. Hope you are pulling up OK…
