Statuesque Miniatures Find New Fairy Tale Trow
December 6, 2018 by brennon
Statuesque Miniatures continue to tell tales of their Trow with some new previews of the characters they've been working on. The latest of these was The Dwarfie Stane who is a larger creature from fairy tale folklore.
This fellow is covered in stoney growths that come from the landscape that he calls home and the designs were based on the actual cliffs at Yesnaby. If you're looking for a place which inspires you to tell tales of strange creatures and a hidden world Ynesaby would certainly do that!
You can see how big this fellow is alongside others of his kind below with this image of the Halligolum, Dwarfie Stane & Eerie-Orums (left to right).
I love this line-up and I can't wait to see what other characters Statuesque add into the mix for their Trow. I'm beginning to step away from the idea of traditional Fantasy worlds to embrace ranges and worlds like this which feature wonderful miniatures unlike any that I've seen on the tabletop before.
Are you tempted by their Trow?

Is it just me or does the Stane look like he’s wearing a judge’s wig? ?
That looks really nice and interesting as well.
An a bricky with a hob from the back.
A good looking troll figure from the front.
