The Newest Giant In Miniature Is A Daring Belgian Aristocrat
December 6, 2018 by brennon
Wargames Illustrated has released a new Giants In Miniature character for you to add into your games. This time around it's Adrian Carton de Wiart who was a rather dashing veteran Belgian aristocrat!
So, what's the deal with this fellow? Adrian Carton de Wiart survived eleven different wounds across three wars! He had lead infantry charges, survived plane crashes and lost an eye, hand and a lung in his career...and yet still kept fighting.
He was able to serve in the Second Boer War, World War I and even ran with a group of Anglo-French troops in Norway during World War II. He was then captured by Italians in 1941, made his way through China and the Burma Front in 1945 and then finally retired at the age of sixty-six!
I think if you're looking for a dashing hero to lead the charge then he might be the one!
What do you make of Adrian Carton de Wiart?
