Building better tentacles
Sidetracked by a certain intergalactic bounty hunter project and some commission works I’ve been lax in updating the project. The idea that I should set some 2019 goals and accomplish them was floated elsewhere on the forums and I doff my cap to Lawnor for it. A project of building up a display base and painting the 1st ed. Lilith from Malifaux entailed building vines since entangling opponents is one of her in game abilities. Here I used the same size piano wire for the Slaanesh base tentacles for the vines bent into circular forms. I changed direction with it in wrapping the vine wires with smaller 24 ga. wire for bulk and a place where later epoxy could hold. The idea will be tried out with future tentacles on other projects as I’ve already decided the focus would be less on tentacles and more on the interaction of metal and flesh.
