Hey all!
@mage thanks for hosting this week and @elessar2590 thanks for hosting everyone last week.
I determined to actually get some hobby done today and have managed to finally complete the Bretonnian BSB that has been on my paint bench for months (Seriously – the first WIP photo to hand that I found was taken in March …).
Now I say that he’s finished but naturally when I saw the photos I noted that I had missed painting the leather stirrup straps, so I’ll need to do that. And yes no doubt I’m sure you all noticed straight away and were about to comment on it and all… 😛 But seriously, now that I’ve seen it isn’t done it will annoy me if I don’t fix it 🙂 He’ll be helping out with the cohort of the army done up in Canterbury Crusaders colors, hence the limited black/white/red palette. And a shot next to Sir Ruchie of Canterbury who will lead the force:
Still not settled on colouring for bases hence the ‘primed’ state of the edging. the BSB looks a lot brighter (no washes on the colour other than a bit of thinned down black paint on the helm decoration) but I’m OK with that. Still on my paint bench are about 50 French and British historicals and an adventuring party of 6 Christmas minis. The adventurers will be my primary focus, and will swap over to the historicals when I overdose on christmas cheer…
@dawfydd the highlander mins are still in the packaging? Wow, that’s showing a great deal of restraint! Tough call – maybe paint one as a test piece and see how they are to work with?
@mage Mordheim still in the pipeline?
@sundancer hope the new component arrives soon!
