Stonemaier Games Release New Teaser Photos For Wingspan

Stonemaier Games have pushed anticipation sky high today, releasing new teaser pictures for their latest game.
Wingspan, due to be released in January 2019, has been shrouded in mystery up until recently, with little information being released while it was under development.
However, Jamey Stegmaier has released a few photos that have piqued our interest, along with the conspicuous hashtag #codenameperegrine
I am a huge fan of Stonemaier Games (and a massive fan of Stegmaier's cats), so I'm already biased, but I am really interested in these components. At a glance, I imagine the game consists of collecting resources and raising chicks, but until the official announcement next Wednesday on Facebook, we at OnTabletop can only speculate.
However, judging by the components (and my soaring level of excitement), it's gonna be awesome!

Scythe was a real disappointment for me. I just don’t like the design choices of taking bits of other games and putting them together to make a new bland game. That it got voted No.1 Peoples Choice on The Dice Tower is a mystery to me.
Totally agree. Played the game maybe half dozen times with different groups and do not see the appeal. Absolutely not impressed by anything other than the deluxe tokens and coins.
