3D Printed Model

3D printed model turned out OK need to adjust the thickness of the wall near docking bays so the printer is able to make them. also need to increase the size of the space for the magnet, going to start working on the 4 ships recently posted in the Darkstar thread as next attempts

This is awesome, @bloodstrike ! The Darkstar project thread has grown so big, it has started to spawn children! 😀 This is great! See, this is one of the reasons I resisted the temptation to put an equation into the spreadsheets that calculated LENGTH of the ship. Mass, sure. It’s calculated down to the ton because it’s divided by surplus engine output to get a power/mass ratio that in turn indicates ship thrust. Crew is calculated down to the individual man because crew = weight and power requirements, feedback into aforementioned power/mass equations. But once you stick a LENGTH on… Read more »
