@torros those look lovely, how on earth do you do your bases? I have some 6mm napoleonic im having a go at and i just can see how to get them neatly based if i rank them closely together.

Thanks mate. 90% of the old glory stuff is on strips like the Baccus 6mm so all the work is already done for you
@Torros thanks but i cant see the strips on your bases? It was really how you managed to hide the strips so its not so obvious.
Im having a dilemma whether to stick them on the base first then put grout stuff around them (and risk getting it on the models) or grout stuff on first and press the strips into it (but then how well would they stick?)

@civilcourage I use very fine gravel . Nothing special ( except taking the photo from far away) was done. For 6mm I try and use a watered down version of basetex to let it flow
