yesterday evening I spontaneously played a “short” 800 points game of Star Wars Legion. After 4 hours we arrived in round 3. The result at that point was most likely a draw with a slight tendency to a victory of the Imperials (myself).

What I learned in the process:

If you play on a 6’x4′ mat, then it is essential that you *before* equipping it with terrain stake out the 1′ on the mat that does not play along. Then your long ranged fixed 1.4 laser turret will have something to hit 😉
If Snowtroopers want to aim *and* shoot, they have to aim first and then move. On the other hand, the order would be “Move, free action, ranged attack, and then aim”.
Snipers are really effective.

Especially the 1′ cost us unnecessary time and action yesterday and caused a lot of frustration on my opponents side.

Now, after 5 hours of sleep: Coffee, work and then some.
