The French fortified most of France once the Germans wanted to wrest control of the country in World War II and that's where the new Maison Forte Set comes in from Warlord Games and Sarissa Precision for Bolt Action.
This gives you a range of different terrain options which can be used to build up defences that your Axis forces will have to break through when it comes to pushing further into the country.
They were most commonly seen along the Maginot Line and proved to be a tricky puzzle that the Germans had to solve. It isn't great when lots of the houses and roads are suddenly blocked by angry Frenchmen!

Indeed, these mighty defences made the German army late for lunch in Paris.
They could work well for commando raids or the like.
Nice Maison Forte set, can see some French Country side boards being made. Angry Frenchmen, only if you pinch his bike and onions……..from what i`ve herd 😉
