Ninjas & Mechs Coming To Tackle Cthulhu In Dust 1947
November 2, 2018 by dracs
Gregoire and Alicia from the Dust USA team join Sam and Justin in the studio to talk about exciting new units and factions for Dust 1947.
Justin is not quite prepared for what the team from Dust USA are bringing to the game as the Japanese faction bursts on to the scene: ninjas and mechs tearing through this Weird World War. In addition to this comes the Desert Scorpion starter set and the ever-looming threat of the Elder Gods.
If you could tackle the Elder Gods with any faction what would it be?

Great chat! Every time I think about those Japanese minis, I find myself considering switching from my SSU. shhhhhhhh!!! I can’t have that getting out!
nice video love the new models that’s coming.
Amazing, but wich faction to add. Love the scorpions but already have plenty of allied. Wouldn’t normally walk away from ninjas and giant robots but chuthulu is such a cool twist to the game. Spoilt for choice!
Interesting…. I used to play Dust a lot and loved the game and setting, and I’d love to add Cthulhu to the collection, but the shop where I used to buy the models shut down a couple of years ago and I’ve lost touch with Dust. Is there any place in the UK you can buy Dust 1947 stuff without having to pay large postage and import fees? I know about http://www.dustgame.com and http://warfactory.pl/en/ but really I need to find a UK based outlet. Can anybody help me find one?
Zatu Games stock some Dust Stuff
Many thanks Fern – I’d not heard of zatu but I’ll be sure to check them out.
Very nice.
SSU or Japanese!
I love Dust, I played a 450 AP Warfare game today, and of course Scott had Gorillas, they are brutal.
always liked this setting and game bought the org starter set never got round to playing.. re sparking but do I need to update my rules
doesn’t this scream BOOT CAMP boys 🙂
I also am a big fan of the setting, as well as the game in general. Plays so much faster than 40k and the like, but still feels very tactical. The original starter set was great, you could totally play as is, but if you want to get going on the latest ruleset you can do that easily as well. You can download the latest rules from the Dust website here: http://www.dustgame.com/downloadfile.php Updated stat cards for every unit are available in the Enlist app that they talk about in the video. Those can be downloaded from the Apple app store… Read more »
Been waiting for these since I saw the miniatures at Gen Con this year.
Great stuff Love that you guys got the APP plug I always tell people that are looking to get into the game that the APP is the place to start as it has EVERYTHING and lets you play around with how to build an army. Should be pointed out the basic rule book is Free on the Dust site as well. Been a fan since the coffin box was released and can say that the Mythos models might be the best stuff they’ve done. Not only that they might be the best Mythos models out period. Anyone that loves the… Read more »
