Dive, Dive, Dive - An Update On Phalanx's UBoot!
We stopped off with the folks from PHALANX to talk to them about UBoot which is still running as a BIG hit here at Essen SPIEL ’18 and around the world with tabletop gamers at events like this.
This game is massive and we can’t wait to try it out again when we get back to the studio. Is this a game that has popped up on your radar yet or is this the first time you’re seeing it?
You can also check out our Let’s Play of the game HERE.
yeah – that is what i am waiting for mister postman – bring me my copy – until then i will watch the DAS BOOT movie again and again to become a real grey wolf..
by the way me grandfathers brother was german u-boot soldier in WWII – he is MIA since 1945 in the age of 18…somewhere on the ground of the northsea
I do find the subject matter distasteful. Uboots slaughtered civilian ships during World War Two.
it is all about war – isn`t it
intersting point – you have to follow the discussion on the kickstarter campaing
There is a difference between military and civilian targets.
Yes, the ships were carrying supplies to aid the allied war effort, but the crews were civilian.

this a very immersive game, it keeps getting bigger, and there was I thinking that a deck rating was all that was needed to master the game.
Yeah yeah. When are they starting work on the Star trek version of this? Its got to happen.
looking impressive, I still don’t think I want an app in my boardgames but this does make me wonder if maybe I do
Me: lets add this to the list.
Wallet: no…please..I can’t…I can’t take it anymore…
So looking forward to receiving my Kickstarter pledge of this
i am very much looking forward to my christmas present!
Such an interesting game this, I recently tried Captain Sonar and while that is fun it is built around easvesdropping on the other team which I think is problematic if one team is not sticking to the rules of confirming orders. This game doesn’t have that issue which is cool.
This game will be interesting to play with a group of friends!
