Civs Foray into Sharp Practice
Landwehr assemble!
So after a few games of Sharp Practice under my belt ive found myself not quite needing the quality (and expense) of the musketeer and so am looking to the humble landwehr to fill out some of the ranks.
The reduction in points also allows me to field a cannon now which have been ruining my last few games against the dastardly French!
Black shading done and buttons painted, i think theyre really starting to come together now. Basing still to do and picking some highlights up but we are getting there!
Awesome this project is great I can’t wait to see them finished and on the table.
Historical Games have arms races too, just like any other games 🙂
That box is perfect for Sharp Practice. 3 Groups and a Leader are a great size for a Militia Group.
What size of cannon are you thinking of for your force?
@elessar2590 yeah it certainly has become an arms race since my group started. I dont think we are putting on enough terrain either to stop cannons being a bit too effective. It was a very useful number thats for sure, and it comes with a leader and musician to stop those uncontrolled volleys…its like they knew! Im enjoying painting these guys so hopefully get them mostly done this weekend as they are mostly a blue greatcoat.
