My Frist Banner Project: Azagh’s Banners
So as you can see in the images above, I have the designs that I want to replicate for Azagh’s back banners based on the original model.
I took a piece of 0.4mm plasticard and primed it using a grey primer. Then added the base colors using an airbrush. This is just for this side as I will need to turn it over and paint the other side after finishing this side.
Now, I will start drawing out the banner dimensions and designs before painting by hand.
Impressed your going with plasticard . I always used foil but it was to much hassle. Looking forward to seeing the results
Thanks Torros for the encouragement mate. I thought of using plasticard to make the banners more durable than paper which was my old method if I couldn’t use the plastic banners etc.
Never tried foil,but I can image it would be hell to work with. I was also considering using very thin sheets of brass as an alternative if this didn’t work out.
So far, I have lined in the designs and started painting this morning. I will update with new pics when I get home.
Oh, and the red parts will be for my dwarf banners incase you were wondering.
