Adventure Through Wild Assent On Kickstarter

Wild Assent, the hybrid miniatures board game from Lazy Squire Games, has now launched on Kickstarter.

Wild Assent is a miniatures game with two modes. First, venture out into the wilds and work alongside your fellow Seekers to build your base and capture fearsome monsters for the Arena.

Then, take to the Arena sands yourself and fight off against monsters and other players.

The Kickstarter is looking for funding not just for the core set itself, but also for the game's first expansion, Shadow of Silvestrem.

A special 72-hour Early Bird pledge offer is also available, with backers who get in early on the Kickstarter at the Gladiator or Champion pledge level receiving a free Unicorn and Lady Aylwen miniature.

For me, the really stand out part of this game is the miniatures. They include some really imaginative takes on some fantasy staples, as well as plenty of monsters of their own creation. It's an interesting menagerie that will help keep the gaming experience fresh with each play through.
