Games Workshop are bringing the Speed Freeks to the tabletop this weekend as this new boxed game goes up for pre-order.

Speed Freeks Contents - Games Workshop

Inside the set, you will everything you need for two Ork clans to bash it out on the tabletop with all the mechanical mayhem you'd expect from the greenskins. You will find six Warbikes and two Buggies (which are exclusive to the set) inside the box as well as all of the rules that you need for playing out their clashes.

If you'd like to find out more about the background behind the Speed Freeks and the brutal Speedwaaagh! then you can check out the blog post that Games Workshop put together HERE.

With Vigilus (it's back again!) becoming the focus of so many of their stories right now it seems like the Orks have found some time to tinker...

The Orks quickly discovered that Vigilus’ cities were protected by powerful force fields, making them impregnable to the greenskins’ assault. In their inimitable style, the Orks adapted and turned their attention to their two other favourite activities – scrapping amongst themselves and racing across the length and breadth of the planet.

It sounds like this boxed set is going to be a lot of fun, especially if you just want to thrash it out on the tabletop with something a little less serious during your gaming sessions.

You just have to find the clan for you and get boshin'!

Unusually, it’s not just the speed-obsessed Evil Sunz who take part in the Vigilus races – a huge part of the Ork kultur on the planet has become dedicated to the Speedwaaagh!, with even the staunch traditionalists of the Snakebites and the stealthy Blood Axes eschewing their usual methods of war in favour of joining in the fast and furious fun.
