Bolt Action Gameplay Tactics: British 8th Army
With people starting to get into their games we’re beginning to get some tactical chatter from Charlie about how people should approach using their forces.
For you at home, and of course the chaps here at the Boot Camp, we talk about some of the ways you can use these troops and larger guns on the tabletop.
Thanks for sharing the tips. And for making sure you both don’t stink.
Interesting video..
Thanks for the tips.

Like the idea of seeing AT rifles being used to good effect
good tips
any armoured infantry should always consider falling back behind dense voer and giving it up to the enemy IF they can set up overwatch/defensive firepositions behind it with friendly carriers/sdkfzs. you loose barely any ground to the enemy and all of a sudden he has to come into a really bad spot if he wants to push

Good tips! Thanks, now I will be invincibe…. Maybe 🙂
Where I am we house rule the carriers to work in pairs to carry a full 10 man section split into two squads. Works well.

Always treat any camera as live! 🙂
Yes. Get those Universal Carriers in. Hmm, I really ought to finish painting mine.
I think light mortars are tricky to use. It’s very easy not rolling a 6.
Movement is king in most games
comment to win.
Nice to see how the game plays in this era. Late war becomes much more deadly for everything on the table.
Tips are always appreciated.
It’ll be interesting to see so many anti tank rifles on the board, I usually play later war list so they don’t really turn up so much in our games.
Loved my mortars…..well…. apart from game 2 when they couldnt hit a barndoor with a piano :/
Interesting intro to this video, never seen two men sniff each other before. 🙂
