Complete Careful Construction In Men At Work
September 27, 2018 by cassn
Something tells me that these guys haven't had sufficient safety training. Balance beams and girders to create an accident waiting to happen in this latest release from Pretzel Games.
Men at Work is a stack-and-balance game. Build a tower of dubious stability and try to catch the bosses eye as you fight it out against your fellow workers for Employee of the Month.
Higher and higher, the construction grows. Before long, the steel girders reach dizzying heights. Fearlessly, the workers carry on, with nothing more than hardhats to protect them. The danger of collapse hangs over everything — so just make sure that nothing happens! You also have to impress Rita, the boss, if you want to be Employee of the Month. There's a lot to do, so let's get going!
Although I feel like this construction site wouldn't pass a safety inspection, there are a few things I love about this.
The wooden components are adorable (you can take the construction worker's hard hats off) and the game storage is high quality. I also just really love stack and balance games and, in this case, I think the theme and the mechanic work well together.
Men at Work will be previewing at Essen, but you can pre-order it from Pretzel Games now.
Do you have a favorite stack-and-balance game?
