About the Project
My roommate and I are getting into AOS, and, well, he is. I am going a long for the ride. But it gives me an excuse to break out my old fantasy armys. Would rather him get into The 9th Age but it does gives me a reason to continue building my immense backlog of unbind stuff. Like an inter shaven army! As well as bits and peaces of Wood Elf, Beastman, Chaos Dwarfs, and some Vampires. Ya I have a lot, I know. So he is making a flying dwarf army. I told him that I would vare much love to build one of the ships. So now I am building his army? Don't know how that happened but last get started.

A balloon of a top hat part 2

Now for I guess the leader of the army a dwarf with a balloon, and top hat These guys sound funny. So I’m going to do a nother conversion on this guy. This models normal pose is just too static. In order to get movement in the model a lot of work is going to have to go into his legs.
First off I cut away some of the excess that I knew was worthless. I then drilled and put a rod through his pelvis. Using pliers I shaped the rod how I think the legs should go. I did not glue the rod in place which gives me bit of play area for when the legs are on. Speaking of which I then glued them on and arrange them roughly the way I want.
Made the balloon.Grounded Dwarfs with guns
The second unit was rather fun to make especially the conversion work that I did for its champion. (I know, extra work for me, hooray) So they have a robot bird on their sprue and I wanted the champion basically have it on his hand as a falcon.
So what I did was with the arm that I cut the gun off that I did not use (from the previous Champion) I then cutaway any remnants of that gun. So I can use that as the hand holding the falcon. Then to make sure they his arms are both symmetrical; I took another arm from the previous dwarves. I mashed it with two other arms so I could have him hold the gun on his shoulder.
Grounded Dwarfs
So I first built a unit of whatever these guys are. This was so I can get a feel for how the army will build and there overall ecstatic.
I made a quick little conversion for their champion. I can’t help it. This was very easy I just cut the gun off one hand and glued the gun he wanted on to that hand. I then took a robot leg from the next Dwarfs you’ll see and gave it to him.
