Forge World Bring Forth Escher Hunters & Ancient Constructs Soon
September 25, 2018 by brennon
Forge World is going to be bringing some very different bits of kit to the tabletop in the near future. The first of these is for Necromunda, Kria The Huntress of House Escher.
As one of the deadliest warriors in House Escher, she is the trigger-woman for the Matriarch Council. She rocks out a long las as well as her pistol and long knives making her adept at getting up into close combat and taking our foes from afar.
She has toxic blood running through her system and she can open up her flesh in order to coat her blades with it...I wouldn't want to be hunted by her through the Underhive! As well as fighting for House Escher she might also be persuaded to fight for different factions as a Bounty Hunter too.
Necrontyr Tech
As well as this Underhive warrior we also have this massive Necron beast, the Seraptek Heavy Construct.
This model is huge and looks like it has been drawn up from the depths of a Tomb World to ravage cities. It comes with a range of weapons, one of which was detailed in the blog post. The Singularity Generator is all about dealing out damage and Mortal Wounds by the bucketful.
Both of these models will be available from the Forge World webstore very soon.
What do you think?

Kria looks more like Amazon than Glam Rock girl that Escher is known from. That big Necron unit is impressive looking model.
Loving these new Necromuda minis. The only problem I’ve had with named NPCs and the hired guns is how prohibitive in cost they are to use in game (the one time hiring fee is usually enough to add two fully equipped gangers to your roster that can be used afterwards). So we’ve found that they don’t get used in the campaigns very often (not sure if others have found this to be the case). The only “extra” hirelings we’ve seen being used are the “Hangers on” (which are a bit cheap if anything strangely). Still possibly you could use the… Read more »
There are a lot of characters and creatures I would have expected before these, but I’ll probably pick up the Escher. I imagine the robot will be eye wateringly expensive though, so I will swerve it and proxy if need be.
The Necron mech looks awesome, I think I can hear my wallet screaming.
Kria’s face looks like 40 miles of bad road. Hope it’s just the paint job.
Also, the musculature on the arms is terrible. I expect more from a ’boutique’ manufacturer.
The tomb spider looks brilliant an a bad day for intruders
The Necron doodad is stunning, but it’s Kria who’ll go on my list.
Kria looks good.
The Necromunda minis I’m REALLY waiting for are Juves. Hopefully they’ll do 3 per faction for 21 quid (like they did with the hired guns) and not 18 quid for a single (like the named NPCs). Yes you could try converting them from Ganger models, but they always end up looking like Gangers armed with pistols. I’ve seen some good conversions for Goliath minis using Shadespire chaos minis, but not seen any good ones for the other factions. For a “core” mini (ie every gang has them) to the game, I’m surprised to see they haven’t been released yet because… Read more »
Kira looks nice but I am still bewildered as to why Australians are expected to pay 50% more for the same miniature coming from the same place (Nottingham)
